About me
Born in Ontario to a Finnish mother and American father, my relationship with food began in the kitchen—cooking alongside my mother and grandmother and learning traditions from both sides of my family. Those early experiences shaped the way I see food: not just as nourishment, but as something that brings people together and influences how we feel, live, and connect.
I'm a Registered Dietitian with a background in Nutrition and Food Science and a Master's degree in Gastronomy from the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Italy.
My career has explored food from many perspectives—including clinical nutrition, public health, culinary education, and food service. Together, these experiences have shaped an approach that blends nutrition with the way people cook, gather, and experience food in everyday life.
Through Heal Co., I work with individuals, healthcare teams, and food businesses to create practical, meaningful food experiences. My work ranges from one-on-one nutrition counselling to menu development, food experience design, and collaborative community projects.
I believe eating well should feel approachable, enjoyable, and sustainable. My goal is to help people build a positive relationship with food while creating experiences that nourish both body and connection.
